In tactical combat they will use cover and try to bait your troops much better along with using spells effectively when it can.Īcts much the same as the medium AI but has a lot of resources to work with, unless you are very fast and get some good RNG you will not be able to beat it's research and will be fighting tier 3 units in about 25 turns or so. They will also attempt to destroy watchtowers when possible if they don't think they can hold a town. ![]() The AI will be a bit better at defending and will make plans turn by turn, they will also try to capture all availible cities and dwellings with good army mixes. In tactical combat it will attempt to flank your troops even if it has to take two or three attacks of opportunity to do so. The AI will screw up a lot of stuff, sometimes leave it's cities undefended even when you have troops right next door because it noticed a city near by of yours was undefended for a turn and will move its armies accordingly. ![]()
